Natalia Savor Achieves Triple Gold Status

Triple Gold

The Pickering Skating Club is proud to announce that one of its senior STARSkaters has achieved Triple Gold status in the Figure Skating categories of Skills, Interpretive and Dance. Natalia Savor, who is 17, has been skating since she was 3 years old. She has been with the club since she was 6, starting in their CanSkate program.

Natalia’s coach through her figure skating career has been Linda Donnelly. Linda is thrilled with Natalia’s accomplishments. In order to achieve Gold status, skaters must pass tests over the years that become increasingly more difficult and have multiple requirements. Impartial judges from Skate Canada decide whether skaters can move to the next level. Over the years, Natalia has also received a number of awards including the Program Assistant , STARSkater and John Benton awards. Natalia also volunteers as a Program Assistant with the CanSkate program, once a week. She is currently working on her Senior Silver Freeskate and Gold Elements and hopes to pass those this season as well. So much hard work, practice and attention to detail has lead to Natalia’s skating success.

Natalia is off to university next year where she hopes to study to become a veterinarian. She hopes to continue skating while at university as well. When asked what else her future holds, Natalia also says that she would love to be a coach so that she can pass on her “knowledge and passion for the sport to the next generation.” Congratulations Natalia!!
