2015-2016 Registration Now Open!

All of us at the Skate Canada Pickering Skating Club (SCPSC) are enthusiastic about the 2015-2016 season. Coaches, the Board of Directors and volunteers have been working hard all summer in preparation, and with our big Ice Show scheduled for spring, this promises to be one of the most exciting and rewarding years yet.

STARSkate Registration

NEW IN 2015-2016: It is with great pleasure that we announce the addition of Off Ice Workouts to our list of development programs. This physical conditioning will help our skaters develop core strengths, agility and endurance that will raise their on ice abilities and performance.

Thank you to our Volunteers! The Pickering Skating Club, coaches and Board of Directors want to thank our valued volunteers for helping us provide a quality, affordable program. As the old adage goes, many hands make for light work.

Volunteer/Bingo Form

Program AssistantsAs you may already be aware, STARSkaters aged 12-18 are required to work as volunteer Program Assistants for a minimum of one CanSkate session per week. This program helps STARSkaters take their understanding of skating skills to a higher level, while also developing their leadership abilities. For those interested in volunteering more days, please speak with our coaches, who are always appreciative of the help. After the first 20 hours, our PA’s are given credits for club expenses, or instead may choose to apply their hours to their Ontario High School Diploma volunteer requirements. Full details are found in the Club Handbook on our website.
